These generally last 3 to 12 months. 

Responsibilities

 

Working for a leading Automation Company, you will be supporting various industry sectors including; Food & Beverage, Phamarmeauticals, Chemical Process and Mining, providing machinery and process control solutions.

 

You will be required to:

 

  • initiate the project - check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources
  • manage the project - which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget
  • identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time
  • investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing projects or components.
  • cover the concept, specification, tender and development of new projects or components.
  • identify new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs.
  • communicate effectively with the clients, colleagues involved in a project.
  • plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
  • make sure project risks are identified and managed through effective mitigation measures.

Your Skills & Knowledge

 

  • Science or Engineering Degree or College Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Business Studies, Project Management)
  • Currently in penultimate year or recently graduated
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera advantageous but not necessary
  • Ability to understand and maintain project schedules
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Able to technically define problems and propose solutions
  • Adaptable to change in a learning environment
  • Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary
